چکیده
Aims: In order to assess the efficacy of several biorational techniques against brinjal mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch.
Study Design: The study used a single component Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications.
Place and Duration Study: experiment was conducted in central farm Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh from October 2021 February 2022.
Methodology: consisted seven treatments laid factor replications. Treatments viz. T1= Spinomax (0.4ml/L water); T2= Neem Oil (5ml/L T3= Biomax (1.2ml/L T4= Ripcord (1ml/L T5= Trichoderma sp. (200mg/L T6= Mehogany Leaf Extract T7= Absolute (Control).
Results: Data on different parameters were collected for assessing results this experiment. case control tactics, showed varied response mite pests. (T5) best result which then followed by oil (T2) pests infesting field. that total number fruit set, % healthy higher treatment sp.
Conclusion: most cases, except treatment, ripcord worst So, @200 mg/L water may be eco-friendly management mite.

Control of two–spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae) by some selected chemicals
The experiment was conducted to study the effectiveness of four commonly used chemicals viz., deltamethrin, cypermethrin, malathion and sulphur against two-spotted spider mite (TSSM), Tetranychus urticae Koch on potted bean plants and on excised leaf discs. Mite population remained significantly lower in all treated plots except malathion treatment. The population of T. urticae differed signifi...
متن کاملThe Formation of Collective Silk Balls in the Spider Mite Tetranychus urticae Koch
Tetranychus urticae is a phytophagous mite that forms colonies of several thousand individuals. These mites construct a common web to protect the colony. When plants become overcrowded and food resources become scarce, individuals gather at the plant apex to form a ball composed of mites and their silk threads. This ball is a structure facilitating group dispersal by wind or animal transport. U...
متن کاملGrowing hot pepper for cabbage looper, Trichopulsia ni (Hübner) and spider mite, Tetranychus urticae (Koch) control.
With the public perception that synthetic pesticides leave harmful residues in crop produce for human consumption, there has been increased interest in using natural products for pest control. The potential of using fruit extracts of hot pepper for controlling the cabbage looper, Trichopulsia ni (Hübner) and spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch is explored in this investigation. Crude extracts...

J. Agric. Entomol. l(}(3):197-203 (July 1993) ABSTRACT Based on data from apple trees without the presence of any predatory mites, the effect of the pyrethroid lambdacyhalothrin on population density of the twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, is reported. Results show that significantly (P < 0.05) higher numbers of T. urticae were found in pyrethroid·treatcd trees relative to the ...
متن کاملSex allocation in haplodiploids is mediated by egg size: evidence in the spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch.
Haplodiploid species display extraordinary sex ratios. However, a differential investment in male and female offspring might also be achieved by a differential provisioning of eggs, as observed in birds and lizards. We investigated this hypothesis in the haplodiploid spider mite Tetranychus urticae, which displays highly female-biased sex ratios. We show that egg size significantly determines n...
